Today we had the honor of fishing with Miguel Rodriguez, owner of Miguel’s Grill and boy oh boy did we have a day.  We got started with a bang as Roxi, who had never caught a fish in her life landed 2 keeper gags in the first 5 minutes on the 1st spot, both over 25 inches.  Brent and Kyle followed with a few nice gags of their own and before we knew it we had 10 keepers in the box and it wasn’t even 10am.  Next, Tim Healy of Healy Studios hit the water and started his assault on the hogs.  He was joined by Kyle and 1st time spear fisherman Jonathan from Wisconsin and 2 dives later we had our limit of very big hogfish.  Miguel, being a gracious host, waited till everyone else had a keeper in the box before he landed a few monsters of his own granting new found life to a few 23 inch gags that were swimming in the live well.  Limit of gags, limit of hogs, and we were back at the dock by 1:30.
