and it was a 5 diamond special being the top charter outfit selected for this very special occasion! The newest sportsman’s attraction in the Tampa Bay area, the Fisherman’s Paradise will no doubt draw in those interested in a unique experience on the water.  For the lucky guests, the weather was exactly what you would hope for a grand opening, sunny with flat calm seas. Since mother nature did her job, it was up to the 2 Shea to deliver up a great day of fishing – – and we responded in kind. Everyone warmed up at our first spot, catching and releasing the protected gag grouper weighing up to 30 pounds.  All said, we released more than a half dozen monster gag grouper like the one Rusty is holding here. While catch and release is fun, Rusty, George, Pam, Gale and Karl were interested in fresh catch for dinner. We put them on red grouper and iced down 18 keeper size to dine on in the opulent dining room on the Paradise.  As the day came to an end, we drew a great deal of praise from other passengers back at the Paradise’s marina with our high caliber catch and we humbled from being able to part of this exciting event.
