What a fantastic day to be on the water. The 2 SHEA ran 2 recreational dive trips today and both were picturesque. We were greeted with flat seas all morning. I was able to watch my divers swim down the ledge, 55 feet below, while on the boat. At the 2nd spot Julie and Dave got to see a goliath grouper around 200lb’s while Keith, doing his first 2 open water dives, saw a huge stingray at the 3 barges.
Thanks to the afternoon sea breeze all the storms stayed on shore allowing us to have an equally nice afternoon trip. Phillip Slack brought his family out from California and the diving did not dissapoint. On the first dive they saw a big turtle hiding under a ledge and on the 2nd they got to see a few goliath grouper. On the same trip Dive Instructor Alex Bravo from Divers Supply finished certifying Steve with his last 2 check out dives. Congrats Steve and I am sure we will see you again soon.
