Another group of divers arrived at 7:30 eager to enjoy the Gulf and left at 12:00 with big smiles on their faces. Again the Gulf was as flat as a bathtub and just as warm. With water temps around 86 everyone was able to dive in either a skin, a rash guard, or just a pair of board shorts as Capt Jay from CJ Flats Saltwater Charters(813-528-3220) prefers. Mike and Gena made the treck from Jacksonville and remarked how surprised they were to see how much life the Gulf has. With this being their first dives out here they were very excited at how much life the Gulf has. Phillip, Marla, and Tj were also enjoying the Gulf for the 1st time. Soon to Capt. Jacob, IN ABOUT 7 YEARS, dropped on the 1st spot then choose to do cannonballs and flips off the boat instead of the second dive.
