Talking about fast learners.  Sid and his son Lawrence came down from South Carolina and asked if we could teach them how to spearfish.  Both are experienced divers but had never shot before.  After an interesting 1st day with a few more misses than hits, both father and son showed that they are quick learners.  They entire boat got on it today as our 5 shooters just missed our limit of hogs by 3.  Besides the 22 legal hogs we got 2 red grouper and 4 mangrove snapper.  The interesting thing about today was that we went out to the same area we dove 1 week ago that gave up so few quality fish.  This is proof positive that these fish move a lot from spot to spot.  Great shooting today and those fish up off the South Carolina coast better watch out Sid and the Kid this summer.
